Accountant - Banke Bihari Traders (BBT Industries Pvt. Ltd.)

About the role

BBT Industries Pvt. Ltd. is a Delhi-based manufacturing and distribution company known for its wide range of household cleaning products, including grass brooms, coco brooms, steel scrubbers, garbage bags and other housekeeping essentials. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounts, support production coordination and help keep our dispatch and operational activities running smoothly as we continue to grow our distribution network across North India.

Key responsibilities

Handle billing and invoicing accurately and in a timely manner
Record and maintain all Tally entries, ledgers and account books
Maintain and reconcile bank statements through regular bank reconciliation
Manage purchase and sales records and track party outstanding and vendor accounts
Handle GST-related accounting and ensure all entries are compliant
Prepare basic MIS and accounting reports for management review
Coordinate with the production team for order status and assist in production planning as required
Manage dispatch coordination, maintain dispatch records and liaise with transporters for vehicle booking, delivery status and pending deliveries
Support management across accounts, production, dispatch and general operational activities on a day-to-day basis

Must-have skills

Tally - proficient in day-to-day accounting entries and records
GST - working knowledge of GST accounting and related compliance
TDS - understanding of TDS applicability and basic deduction procedures
Bookkeeping - ability to maintain accurate and organised account books

Good to have

Experience with GST filing and end-to-end GST compliance

Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline (Commerce preferred)
2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience

We have 1 opening for this on-site position at our facility in Puth Khurd, New Delhi - 110039, with a monthly compensation of Rs 22,000.
